Fall on the Fraser River near Port Haney

I marveled, when this vessel made its unhurried glamorous way past my front door, as to what Simon Fraser would have made of this sight, bearing down on him in his tiny canoe as he paddled on his voyage of discovery down the river that would one day share its name with him. No doubt he would have paused when seeing its name and reflected on the meaning of "After Eight".
